Servings: 20

Prep Time:  30 minutes

Suggested Tools:

·  Cutting board

·  Serving plate

·  Medium bowl

·  Measuring cup

·  Measuring spoons

·  Sharp knife

·  Stir spoon

Ingredients:

·  4 large flour tortillas (Use gluten free tortillas for GF option).

·  8 ounces cream cheese, softened

·  16-20 Thinly sliced turkey slices (or ham, or chicken). I used both turkey and ham to give

guests an option.

·  10 Thin slices of a favorite cheese (I used both Muenster and Colby, but Monterey Jack

and Provolone would work too).

·  *Baby romaine lettuce leaves as needed to cover tortilla

*Note: You can also use standard romaine cut to fit, fresh spinach leaves or even basil

leaves. If using the standard romaine lettuce, remove thick "ribs".

·  ½ cup dried cranberries (sometimes I use chopped black olives).

·  Garlic salt

Directions:

1.  Place one flour tortilla on a cutting board and with the back of a small spoon, spread the softened cream cheese to cover the tortilla. You don’t have to skimp on the cream cheese because I usually have a little left over after making mine.

2.  Lightly sprinkle some of the garlic powder onto the cream cheese – not too much as you don't want it to overpower the flavor.

3.   Hand sprinkle some of the dried cranberries to your desired proportion. About one inch apart is a pretty good distribution.

4.   Lay the lettuce down to cover the tortilla but do not leave any overage.

5.   Lay down the turkey (or other chosen meat), keeping it within the bounds of the tortilla edge.

6.   Lay down the cheese, keeping it within the bounds of the tortilla edge.

7.   From the lower edge of the tortilla, begin rolling up the tortilla rather firmly as you want to end up with a nice tight tortilla roll. If needed while rolling either tuck in any ingredients hanging over the top edge of the tortilla or remove those ingredients altogether.

8.   Turn the completed roll so the opening edge is facing down and begin slicing the roll into individual serving pieces. I cut mine about one inch wide. I usually cut the first and last edge pieces off (and don't use those) so that I get a nice full serving slice. Place each piece facing flat on the serving platter so the spiral can be seen and place them on the serving platter so that they are touching each other (They support each other this way).

9.   Cover with plastic wrap and keep the roll-ups in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Enjoy!
